Show Notes:

We are back after an extended break.  We hope everyone had a great new year.  There is a new member of the Dog and Deuce family!  I am proud to announce that my co-host and friend James “Deuce” is the proud father of a beautiful baby girl!  Congratulations!

We start the show with listener comments.

Dog and Deuce talk about the NFC and AFC championship games.

Brian Urlacher defends Jay Cutler while the rest of the league is lighting him up.

Aren’t you glad you don’t have to listen to Rex Ryan for the rest of the season?  We are.

A great clip of the allegedly fixed 1985 draft lottery – note the bent corner as David Stern pulls the envelope out of the drum.

The Spurs are ripping through the NBA schedule.  How can a team this old have a record of 39-7 and be 6 games ahead of the Lakers in the Western Conference with Tim Duncan only averaging 13 points??  Its a miracle of science!

The Jazz have lost 6 in a row.  D&D tell you what has changed and why Deron Williams doesn’t seem that bothered by the slump.

Jimmer Fredette has captured the eye of the national media.  Can he be stopped?

Jimmer’s brother spits phat rhymes, homie – you can hear them here

The NCAA player with the highest points per game average was none other than “Pistol” Pete Maravich.  He averaged 44.2 points from 1967-1970.  Jimmer’s got some work to do.

No ‘One For The Road‘ this week.

Opening and closing song: “Salt Lake City” by The Dwarves.  Music for this episode provided by Mevio’s Music Alley.  Check it out at music.mevio.com
